Welcome to the World!

The Godmothers have been hard at work collecting items to create Newborn Birth-Day Baskets for donation to The Wish Project.  These baskets hold basic essensials for a new little coming into this world, as well as a few handcrafted items to spread some care & joy.  Inside have diapers, wipes, bottles, baby wash, towel, wash cloths, bibs, sleepers, and more!  The Godmothers special touch is added with a handmade hat & bootie set and afghan before wrapping it all up and tying on that pretty bow!!

These baskets were delivered to The Wish Project, and the volunteers were thrilled to see them!  It keeps us motivated to get some positive feedback on our doings, so more Neborn Birth-Day Baskets will be made as the Godmothers are able.

This Godmother has to get back to her yarn, but more fun is to come!

Finally !!

It's been way too long since the blog was updated, but there's no time like the present.  It's been quite awhile since the G.O.G. (Gang of Godmothers) were together for Hooker Night, but it is time!  We have made a plan to have weekly gatherings now that summer has just about passed by.


The Fairy Godmothers have been working on various projects independently- but we are getting re-energized & motivated to knit, crochet & loom our hearts out!

We have been successful in donating to a few causes this summer;

• 16 Afghans were delivered to The Wish Project in Lowell, a very worthy place that help out so many families who are struggle for the essential basics. 

• 8 Preemie Blanket & Hat Sets were delivered by Fairy Stephany to Beth Israel Hospital in Boston- in deep appreciation for the care the NICU has given to her 2 nephews Gavin & Ashton.  We hope to do another delivery shortly of fall themed goodies to the nurses here- they really know how to take care of those tiny babes and worried moms, and for that we are very thankful.

The Godmothers currently have in the works a few other ideas too- Hats & Mitten Sets, Hat & Booties Sets, Hat & Scarf Sets, as well as making Newborn Birthday Baskets.  You will just have to stay tuned to see what's next!

Did you bring your jammies?

Pajama Night was a blast... lots of laughter, and some knitting was done too!  All the Godmothers were in their finest attire.

As you can tell, we are very serious and subdued on these get togethers, but near the end of the evening things did get a little crazy...

Ok, enough playing, back to those hats and mittens!!!!!!!
